Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue control and combo strategy led by Y'shtola Rhul. It uses enter-the-battlefield creatures to accrue steady card advantage, tempo, and board control. The commander's ability grants two separate end steps each turn, effectively doubling flicker triggers on creatures like Mulldrifter, Aether Channeler, and Agent of Treachery. Backed by a dense suite of free and efficient countermagic, the deck controls opposing threats while digging toward its primary win condition. The main win path uses infinite mana loops with Deadeye Navigator or Archaeomancer alongside Peregrine Drake or Palinchron. Once infinite mana is generated, the deck draws its library and loops Venser, Shaper Savant to bounce all opposing permanents, creating a complete and unrecoverable lockout.
