Deck overview

This Boros Equipment deck is led by Jor Kadeen, First Goldwarden, focusing on rapid creature deployment, high Equipment density, and aggressive combat scaling. The list capitalizes heavily on 'For Mirrodin!' Equipment such as Bladehold War-Whip, Glimmer Lens, and Hexgold Hoverwings, which provide immediate 2/2 Rebel creature tokens to bypass the traditional tempo loss of casting and equipping artifacts separately. Efficient cost reducers and free equip enablers like Puresteel Paladin, Sigarda's Aid, Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, and Bruenor Battlehammer streamline board development. Jor Kadeen functions as both a low-cost scaling attacker and an early card-draw engine upon reaching 4 power. The deck scales into the midgame with massive stat boosters like Nettlecyst and extra combat steps from Hexplate Wallbreaker, while packing top-tier targeted removal and efficient defensive spells like Boros Charm and Flawless Maneuver to preserve its battlefield momentum.
