Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Auntie Ool, Cursewretch pilots a grindy -1/-1 counter deck that turns her draw-trigger into an engine. The primary plan is to assemble an infinite loop using Yawgmoth, Hapatra, and Obelisk Spider to drain opponents, or Blowfly Infestation with Flourishing Defenses and a counter payoff. The commander provides card advantage and a ward-style taxing effect, but she is not a combo piece. Secondary paths are attrition with wither creatures and proliferate, and recursive token generation via Hapatra and Nest of Scarabs. The deck wins through combo, not commander damage, and its lack of tutors and counterspells makes it a slow, fragile assembly deck.
