Deck overview

This deck leverages Ramos, Dragon Engine as a high-octane mana battery to cheat enormous Dragon and Eldrazi payoffs into play ahead of schedule. By casting multicolored spells across the color spectrum, Ramos rapidly accumulates counters to activate its {W}{W}{U}{U}{B}{B}{R}{R}{G}{G} mana burst. This mana cascades into dominant board presences spearheaded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Ureni of the Unwritten, or massive colorless spells copied by Echoes of Eternity. While the deck includes powerful control cards like Mana Drain and planeswalkers like Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, its reliance on high-CMC permanents and a 6-mana commander makes early mana acceleration paramount. Opponents must respect the sudden velocity of Ramos's mana burst, but targeted removal aimed at the commander before its first activation creates substantial tempo bottlenecks.
