Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Treasure aristocrats and party-tribal engine led by Burakos, Party Leader and Agent of the Shadow Thieves. The primary plan curves low-cost Clerics, Rogues, Warriors, and Wizards into Burakos on Turn 4. Attacking with Burakos triggers the Background to grant indestructible and deathtouch while generating 2 to 4 Treasure tokens and draining the defending player. The deck banks these artifacts to fuel potent drain multipliers such as Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Master, Nadier's Nightblade, and Agent of the Iron Throne, reliably threatening a lethal table-wide burn by Turn 6. With high functional redundancy across party enablers and aristocrat payoffs, the deck steadily outpaces opponents in mana velocity and life totals. While it lacks stack protection and artifact removal, its efficient creature spot removal, resilient combat commander, and burst burn capabilities allow it to close games smoothly across two combat rotations.
