Format: Commander

Commander: Tuvasa the Sunlit

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Bant Merfolk enchantress deck that uses Tuvasa the Sunlit to turn a heavy enchantment suite into card draw while a Merfolk token core builds the battlefield. The real engine is a hidden two-card loop: Deeproot Pilgrimage plus Intruder Alarm, with Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca as the repeatable tap outlet, producing unlimited Merfolk tokens and +1/+1 counters. Secondary paths are a lord-driven islandwalk beatdown and Simic Ascendancy's counter-based alt-win. Tuvasa supplies the draw engine and a large commander-damage threat, but the deck does not collapse without her. The mana base is slow, so most games assemble the combo around turn seven or eight.
