Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul midrange strategy commanded by Neyith of the Dire Hunt that weaponizes the fight mechanic and damage redirection. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with low-cost dorks and land searchers to cast Neyith on Turn 3. Once established, the deck uses low-cost fight spells like Tail Swipe and Ancient Animus to remove opposing creatures while drawing extra cards through Neyith's triggered ability. The mid-to-late game transitions into explosive damage turns using damage-reflecting creatures such as Brash Taunter, Stuffy Doll, and Mogg Maniac paired with massive damage spells like Blasphemous Act and Chandra's Ignition. Alternatively, massive power amplifiers such as Xenagos, God of Revels, Unnatural Growth, and Fiery Emancipation turn large beaters into game-ending combat threats. With built-in indestructible permanents and dedicated protection spells, the deck generates high card advantage and finishes opponents around Turn 8.
