Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Artifact Storm build led by Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain. The game plan develops mana in the opening turns with mana rocks and cost reducers like Foundry Inspector and Enthusiastic Mechanaut. Once Jhoira enters the battlefield, every low-cost historic spell replaces itself in hand, creating a rapid storm chain that draws through a large portion of the library. Victory routes combine direct burn from pingers like Reckless Fireweaver, Firebrand Archer, and Coruscation Mage, flying token swarms from Third Path Iconoclast, Sai, Master Thopterist, and Saheeli, Jewel of Avishkar, and storm finishers like Grapeshot and Temporal Fissure. The deck generates high card flow without requiring infinite combos, using cheap artifacts and Paradoxical Outcome resets. While vulnerable to early commander removal and artifact sweepers, its dense redundancy allows it to rebuild and threaten lethal damage quickly.
