Deck overview

This Bant counters deck leverages Tidus, Yuna's Guardian to orchestrate an aggressive +1/+1 counter and proliferation strategy. The deck curves early counter-enablers like Hardened Scales, Conclave Mentor, and Shelinda, Yevon Acolyte into mid-game power engines such as Brokers Ascendancy, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, and Railway Brawler. By moving counters before combat and connecting with modified creatures, Tidus triggers steady card draw and proliferation to snowball the board. Asymmetric mass removal like Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye clears opposing defenses while leaving your modified board intact. Evasion pieces such as Herald of Secret Streams, Duskshell Crawler, and Chocobo Knights turn massive stats into rapid player eliminations. While vulnerable to heavy sweeper-dense pods due to its reliance on combat, the deck mitigates wipes using The Ozolith, Luminous Broodmoth, and Ripples of Potential.
