Cormela Spells

Format: Commander

Commander: Cormela, Glamour Thief

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis deck is a Cormela-centric combo deck. The main plan is to assemble Cormela, Ashnod's Altar, and Demonic Gifts, then loop Demonic Gifts by sacrificing Cormela: Ashnod's Altar pays for her activation, the Gifts trigger rebuys Cormela, and her death trigger rebuys Demonic Gifts. Each loop casts an instant, so any 'whenever you cast a noncreature spell' pinger on board-Firebrand Archer, Guttersnipe, Kessig Flamebreather-drains all opponents. A secondary storm line uses Grapeshot after ritual/cantrip chains. Seven transmute tutors and Mystical Teachings find the pieces, while cheap counterspells protect the kill. No hidden commander; the deck deliberately folds all lines through Cormela.
