Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Reanimator and Theft Control strategy helmed by Azula, Cunning Usurper. The primary game plan revolves around filling the graveyard using self-mill cards like Stitcher's Supplier and targeted tutors like Vile Entomber, then cheating massive threats onto the battlefield with efficient recursion spells such as Reanimate, Victimize, and Stitch Together. Threats like Sepulchral Primordial, Diluvian Primordial, and Agent of Treachery turn opponents' resources into offensive assets, while resilient beaters like Triplicate Titan and Sheoldred, Whispering One present commanding board presence and continuous attrition. Azula provides added value by exiling opposing threats on entry and granting flash access to cast them during combat. A solid interaction package of cheap counterspells and removal protects early setup while disrupting faster opposing lines, eventually culminating in a multi-turn combat finish backed by Archetype of Imagination.
