Deck overview

This Bant Commander deck is built around Estrid, the Masked, blending classic enchantress card draw with modern Role mechanics and token doubling. The primary strategy accelerates mana in the early turns using land Auras like Wild Growth and Utopia Sprawl, leveraging Estrid's +2 ability to untap enchanted lands for significant mana velocity. Constellation engines such as Eidolon of Blossoms and Setessan Champion convert every enchantment and Role token into continuous card draw. In the mid-game, token multipliers like Parallel Lives and Mondrak, Glory Dominus amplify payoffs like Hallowed Haunting and Archon of Sun's Grace, generating massive flying armies. Built-in protection from Umbra armor and Ward shields your high-value permanents from spot removal, while Sphere of Safety and Asinine Antics blunt opposing aggression. The deck closes games through overwhelming evasive combat damage or a game-ending Finale of Devastation.
