Deck overview

This Naya +1/+1 counter deck is built to convert every counter placed into direct damage via Shalai and Hallar. The primary plan is to assemble a critical mass of counter-doubling effects (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Vorinclex, The Earth Crystal) and then either burn all opponents through the commander's trigger or deploy one of several infinite loops, most cleanly Heliod + Walking Ballista. War Elemental and The Red Terror turn Shalai's damage into nonstop counter generation, ending the game on the spot. The deck also carries a backup beatdown plan through big trampling creatures and a win via Mayael's Aria. Protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Boros Charm keep the fragile engine alive during the crucial turns.
