Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya midrange strategy helmed by Ghalta and Mavren that synergizes go-wide token production with go-tall stompy threats. The deck utilizes dense early ramp (dorks, land search, and rocks) to deploy mid-sized beaters on Turns 2-4 and accelerate into its 7-mana commander by Turn 5. When attacking, Ghalta and Mavren generates either massive trample Dinosaur tokens scaled to your largest attacker or swarms of lifelinking Vampires scaled to your attacking creature count. The deck converts this escalating board presence into lethal combat damage via overrun effects, anthems, and token doublers. While the deck boasts high redundancy in ramp and resilient backup threats like Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Cultivator Colossus, it possesses minimal interactive disruption and relies on natural draws to find protection against opposing board wipes.
