Deck overview

Tidus, Yuna's Guardian leads a Bant midrange strategy centered on stacking +1/+1 counters, proliferating, and converting tall, wide boards into overwhelming combat damage. The deck develops early mana acceleration and counter enablers before deploying Tidus on turn 4 to draw cards and accelerate counter growth through combat. As the board expands, asymmetric power multipliers like Chocobo Knights, Maester Seymour, and Damning Verdict establish a dominant offensive presence by turn 6. The deck features layered protection spells and persistent counter-transfer enchantments to resist board wipes, backed by versatile Bant removal to handle opposing threats. While vulnerable to mass bounce and exile effects due to its reliance on continuous board presence, its high engine redundancy and standalone threats allow it to maintain pressure across multiple turn cycles.
