Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Jund Group Slug and Delirium attrition engine commanded by Winter, Misanthropic Guide. The game plan revolves around rapidly filling the graveyard with diverse card types to enable Delirium, which asymmetrically reduces opponents' maximum hand sizes down to 1 to 3 cards. Meanwhile, Winter forces every player to draw two extra cards on upkeep. Because opponents cannot hold these cards, they are forced to discard them at the end of their turns. The deck capitalizes on this forced turnover by deploying a dense array of draw- and discard-punishing permanents such as Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Megrim, Liliana's Caress, Orcish Bowmasters, and Waste Not. Opponents rapidly lose life and resources each turn cycle while the pilot maintains a full hand and steady mana flow, eventually closing the game out through lethal trigger damage or explosive wheel effects.
