Deck overview

Casal, Lurkwood Pathfinder commands a mono-green legendary stompy deck that converts mana acceleration into overwhelming combat pressure. The deck uses low-cost mana dorks and land-search sorceries to cast Casal on Turn 3, automatically ramping an additional Forest onto the battlefield. On Turn 4 and Turn 5, the strategy shifts to aggression. Casal attacks and transforms into an imposing 6/6 Owlbear that grants bonus power and trample to other legendary creatures. Formidable threats such as Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, Surrak and Goreclaw, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, and Kamahl, Heart of Krosa rapidly build an unmanageable board state. Sustained card flow from enchantments like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond keeps the hand refueled, while cheap protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Tamiyo's Safekeeping safeguard key pieces. The deck finishes games through heavy trampling combat damage across two table rotations, eliminating all opponents by Turn 7.
