Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Aristocrats Reanimator build commanded by Thanos, the Mad Titan. Rather than relying on its commander to win, the deck utilizes Thanos primarily as color access and an on-demand selective board clear. The core game plan focuses on stocking the graveyard with heavy impact creatures such as Archon of Cruelty and Massacre Wurm, pairing them with aristocrat drain engines like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Zulaport Cutthroat. Sacrifice outlets such as Phyrexian Altar and Viscera Seer fuel life drain and mana generation, while a dense suite of board wipes and Grave Pact effects keep opposing boards suppressed. The deck reaches a critical must-answer board state on turn 6, typically through a large Living Death or persistent recursion loops, steadily depleting all three opponents' life totals over two turn cycles to close the game on turn 8.
