Deck overview

This Temur deck leverages the partner pairing of Blue, Loyal Raptor and Owen Grady, Raptor Trainer to power an aggressive Dinosaur stompy strategy. The early game focuses on land ramp through spells like Nature's Lore, Circuitous Route, and Invasion of Zendikar to develop a deep mana base. Owen Grady, Raptor Trainer places keyword counters—primarily haste and trample—onto Blue, Loyal Raptor, which automatically shares those counters with every subsequent Dinosaur entering the battlefield. This engine accelerates massive top-end threats, including Etali, Primal Conqueror, Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, and Ancient Bronze Dragon, into immediate combat pressure. Clone spells such as Echoing Equation, Undercover Operative, and Irenicus's Vile Duplication duplicate these formidable creatures to overwhelm opposing defenses. The deck supports its beatdown plan with versatile bite spells and targeted protection like Tamiyo's Safekeeping, steadily grinding through opponent life totals across multi-turn combat rotations.
