Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Spellslinger and Big Spells strategy commanded by Neera, Wild Mage. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana via rituals and Treasures during the early turns while setting up the top of the library with tools like Brainstorm, Sensei's Divining Top, and Scroll Rack. Once Neera enters the battlefield on Turn 5, cheap cantrips and spells are cast and tucked into the library to spin into colossal game-ending payoffs, including Warp World, Soulfire Eruption, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, and Summon: Bahamut. In parallel, the deck runs a powerful wheel package featuring Windfall, Wheel of Misfortune, and Time Reversal that pairs with lethal draw payoffs like The Locust God, Psychosis Crawler, and Niv-Mizzet, Parun. These engines deal massive burn damage and generate overwhelming flying token swarms, consistently closing out the game across Turns 7 and 8.
