Deck overview

This Jund Power-Matters deck utilizes The Muckslinger Gang to fundamentally alter creature resource scaling across all zones. By granting a static +3/+3 buff to creature spells, creature cards in hands, graveyards, and exile, and non-combat permanents on the battlefield, the deck turns humble utility creatures into massive enablers. Mana dorks like Kami of Whispered Hopes and Fanatic of Rhonas tap for four or more mana immediately, while draw engines like Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising trigger off every single creature spell. After assembling its mana and draw engines by Turn 4, the deck deploys colossal threats like Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Railway Brawler on Turn 5. It closes games on Turn 6 by converting high power into lethal direct table-wide damage with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Chandra's Ignition, Terror of the Peaks, and heavy trample combat.
