Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Rakdos Treasure and Dragon combo build centered on Smaug the Impenetrable. Smaug provides a resilient, indestructible 8/7 flying threat with haste that converts any noncombat damage dealt to it directly into Treasure tokens. The deck accelerates through early mana rocks, rituals, and treasure generators to deploy Smaug on Turn 5. Once on the battlefield, high-damage spells like Blasphemous Act, Cut Propulsion, and Star of Extinction deal massive damage to Smaug without destroying him, instantly generating 13 to 20 Treasures. These tokens immediately fuel lethal table-wide burn through Crackle with Power, aristocrat pingers such as Mirkwood Bats and Reckless Fireweaver, or an infinite damage loop with Blazing Sunsteel. Backup plans leverage heavy Dragon beatdown, extra combat loops with Aggravated Assault, and artifact win conditions like Revel in Riches. While vulnerable to exile removal and artifact shutoff effects, its immense redundancy and explosive burst velocity allow it to close games rapidly.
