Deck overview

Thanos, Death's Consort leads a mono-black Villain and sacrifice deck that turns death triggers into value. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Thanos as a grow-and-recover engine. The primary plan is to accrue +1/+1 counters on Thanos while creating Villain tokens, drawing cards, and draining life through Criminal Enterprise and Vengeful Bloodwitch. Secondary paths include reanimating large Demons and using Cemetery Tampering or Gix to cast spells from unusual zones. A mid-game Construct a Cosmic Cube can take control of an opponent, and Exsanguinate is the main life-total closer. The commander is not a required engine: the deck functions as a grindy reanimator-control pile even if Thanos is removed repeatedly.
