Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated 5-color Polymorph strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The list completely omits low-cost non-token creatures, ensuring that any polymorph trigger from Jace, Proteus Staff, Divergent Transformations, or Mass Polymorph flips directly into a devastating threat such as Blightsteel Colossus, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, or Archon of Cruelty. Early turns prioritize mana acceleration using ten 2-CMC mana rocks and establishing cheap token fodder with cards like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller. On Turn 4, the commander enters and immediately sacrifices a token to cheat a high-impact permanent into play. Supported by versatile spot removal, sweepers, and planeswalker synergies like Oath of Teferi, the deck controls opposing boards while closing the game through massive combat damage and asymmetric attrition.
