Deck overview

Golbez, Crystal Collector leads a dimir artifact-combo/value deck. Every artifact entering the battlefield draws a surveil, feeding the graveyard and sculpting draws, while the end-step trigger returns a creature from the graveyard and drains all opponents when the artifact count climbs high enough. The deck's primary plan is to generate artifact density and card flow through cost reducers, cast-from-top engines like Mystic Forge and Bolas's Citadel, and token producers, then close with empty-library wins via Thassa's Oracle or Laboratory Maniac, Aetherflux Reservoir life-total shots, or Time Sieve extra turns. The commander is the recursive glue of the midrange plan, but most of the actual combo lines live in the 99.
