Deck overview

This Aminatou, the Fateshifter deck is an Esper control and topdeck-manipulation strategy that leverages library sorting to cheat and cast high-impact bombs. Supported by cards like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, Soothsaying, and Aminatou's own +1 ability, the deck organizes the top of the library to optimize attack triggers from Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign and Marvo, Deep Operative. These engines drop game-warping threats such as Void Winnower, Breach the Multiverse, and Toxrill, the Corrosive far ahead of normal mana curves. Meanwhile, a robust removal package—featuring Swords to Plowshares, Skyclave Apparition, and versatile board sweepers—keeps opposing boards in check. The deck closes games through overwhelming combat damage from evasive beaters, sustained attrition from Toxrill, or alternate win conditions like Approach of the Second Sun. While it lacks fast combo finishes, its defensive resilience and asymmetric stax elements provide commanding late-game inevitability.
