Commander: Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar is the engine of a low-curve Orzhov aggro deck. The primary plan is to cast cheap creatures, then sacrifice or blink them so Vondam grows with every death or exile; Flowering of the White Tree and Hero's Blade turn him into an early 5/4 menace. The hidden commander is Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, whose attack-trigger tokens combine with Cathars' Crusade and Boss's Chauffeur for a go-wide kill. Secondary attrition lines use Bastion of Remembrance, Elas il-Kor, and Marionette Apprentice to drain opponents. Once Vondam reaches 4 power, his own death or exile trigger is a flexible Vindicate, and instant-speed blink makes it a reliable answer.
