Deck overview

This mono-black deck is helmed by Ghoulcaller Gisa, focusing on high-synergy Zombie tribal combat backed by aristocrat drain engines. The primary game plan revolves around deploying efficient or recursive high-power creatures such as Rotting Regisaur, Gravecrawler, and Grave Titan, then sacrificing them to Gisa to generate massive waves of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Tribal lords like Death Baron, Undead Warchief, and Lord of the Accursed turn the swarm into an evasive, lethal fighting force, while aristocrats such as Ayara, First of Locthwain, Plague Belcher, Blood Artist, and Syr Konrad, the Grim punish opponents whenever tokens enter or die. While the deck boasts immense card draw via Skullclamp and Undead Augur alongside sturdy graveyard recursion, it lacks instant-speed stack protection and relies heavily on untapping with its 5-mana commander to achieve peak explosive velocity.
