This Simic deck is built around the Pir/Toothy partner pairing: Pir doubles every counter that would be put on your permanents, while Toothy turns each card draw into +1/+1 counters. The primary plan is to play Pir early, drop Toothy, then chain cheap draw spells to make Toothy a lethal commander-damage threat. Secondary paths include Simic Ascendancy as a counter-based alternate win, Twenty-Toed Toad and Psychosis Crawler converting the same card draw into table-wide finishes, and a council-vote/value subtheme that generates extra cards and counters. The deck has no hidden commander; every card either fuels the counter/draw engine, protects the commander pair, or provides an alternate win tied to that same engine.
