Commander: Orvar, the All-Form

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This mono-blue combo deck uses Orvar, the All-Form to duplicate permanents whenever you target them with cheap instants and sorceries. Your primary path to victory involves pairing Orvar with cost reducers such as Sapphire Medallion or Haughty Djinn alongside repeatable buyback spells like Whim of Volrath, Clockspinning, or Mind Games. By reducing buyback costs to a single blue mana, targeting an untapped land or mana rock generates infinite mana and unlimited permanent copies. From there, you draw your entire deck using duplicated draw permanents like Coveted Jewel or Aether Channeler, finally closing the game with infinite damage via Walking Ballista or looping copies of Sunscorched Desert.
