Deck overview

This mono-red deck harnesses the explosive power of Dragons, using cost reduction, Treasure generation, and tribal synergies to overwhelm opponents in combat. Led by Sarkhan, Dragon Ascendant, the deck secures early mana velocity with a low-cost commander that produces Treasures upon beholding Dragons. Once accelerated, the deck deploys high-impact flying beaters such as Utvara Hellkite, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames. Direct damage engines like Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas turn each entering creature into board control or face burn. Punishing damage doublers such as Twinflame Tyrant and Gratuitous Violence speed up the clock. While the list lacks stack interaction and enchantment removal, its high threat density, sweeper suite, and flying evasion present a consistent combat challenge.
