Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Black Combo and Reanimator strategy commanded by K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. K'rrik turns your life total into pure mana acceleration by substituting 2 life for every black mana symbol. This lets you deploy massive card-advantage engines like Vilis, Broker of Blood, Asmodeus the Archfiend, Bolas's Citadel, and Peer into the Abyss far ahead of curve. The primary route to victory searches for combo pieces with Buried Alive and reanimates Necrotic Ooze, which uses Asmodeus and Skirge Familiar in the graveyard to draw the library and produce mana. Alternatively, casting and returning Leshrac's Sigil with K'rrik and Aetherflux Reservoir generates infinite storm and life to eliminate the table on Turn 4. The deck also features a compact backup infinite drain combo with Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. While vulnerable to instant-speed creature removal and graveyard hate, the deck's dense reanimation package provides strong resilience.
