NEW BONE COLLECTOR (another whack at it) (duplicated from Gort666)

Format: Commander

Commander: Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-black graveyard-value deck helmed by Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist, whose repeated tap ability returns creatures from the graveyard to the battlefield as vanilla Skeletons. The primary plan is to self-mill via dredge and enablers like Stitcher's Supplier and Ripples of Undeath, then reanimate high-power creatures-such as Phyrexian Dreadnought, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, and Ancient Stone Idol-to overwhelm opponents with sheer size. The deck also uses these oversized bodies as sacrifice fodder for card-draw and mana engines like Disciple of Bolas, Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar, and Soldevi Adnate. Lacking infinite combos or a fast clock, it wins through incremental combat damage and value accumulation, often grinding into a second wind via Meathook Massacre II and recursion spells. The commander's ability to strip abilities from reanimated creatures means the deck relies on ETB triggers and raw power rather than keyword synergies.
