Ayara Recursion by user3053951

Format: Commander

Commander: Ayara, First of Locthwain

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ayara, First of Locthwain commands a mono-black aristocrats and drain strategy that punishes opponents whenever black creatures enter or leave the battlefield. The deck leverages black creature recursion, sacrifice outlets, and life-drain engines to whittle down opposing life totals while building card advantage in the command zone. Its primary win condition pairs Exquisite Blood with lifegain drain pieces like Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or Enduring Tenacity for an immediate infinite drain loop. Secondarily, the deck generates immense mana through Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast to cast game-ending Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate.
