Deck overview

This Tayam, Luminous Enigma deck is an Abzan hatebears and combo build designed to control the pace of competitive tables before executing an instant-speed infinite loop. The primary game plan deploys early mana dorks on Turn 1 into disruptive stax pieces like Archon of Emeria, Ethersworn Canonist, and Aven Mindcensor on Turns 2 and 3. These restrictions heavily penalize storm and turbo strategies while Tayam breaks parity, using its {3} activated ability to mill cards and reanimate permanents directly without casting spells. The deck wins by assembling Basking Broodscale alongside Rosie Cotton of South Lane to generate infinite colorless mana and infinite counters. Tayam then repeatedly mills the library and reanimates Moonglove Extract or Altar of Dementia to eliminate all opponents on the spot. Tutor density across creature searchers ensures high consistency, while Ranger-Captain of Eos provides critical protection during the winning turn.
