Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon commands a five-color tribal deck that deploys overwhelming aerial beaters ahead of curve. The commander passive Eminence ability reduces all Dragon costs from the start of the game, letting you rapidly deploy high-impact threats like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Utvara Hellkite, and Scourge of Valkas. You win through overwhelming flying combat damage accelerated by extra combat steps, haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Dragonlord Kolaghan, and explosive board swarms from Ancient Gold Dragon or Dracogenesis. Board wipes like Crux of Fate and Ruinous Ultimatum clear opposing defenses while your resilient flyers dominate the skies to eliminate all three opponents.
