Deck overview

This deck leverages Toph, the First Metalbender to convert nontoken artifacts into lands and animate them into resilient, hasty attackers using the Earthbend mechanic. Earthbent lands return to the battlefield tapped whenever they die or are exiled, turning opposing board wipes and targeted removal into mana ramp. The deck uses low-cost artifact acceleration and land-fetching spells to establish early mana stability, casts Toph on curve, and scales into massive landfall payoffs like Avenger of Zendikar, Omnath, Locus of Rage, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum. Additional combat steps from Bumi, Unleashed and trample granting from Badgermole allow the pilot to push lethal damage across three opponents over turns 6 through 8. Key utility creatures like Sylvan Safekeeper shield high-value threats from targeted interaction while sacrificing lands that naturally return through graveyard recursion.
