Deck overview

This mono-blue artifact midrange deck uses Akal Pakal, First Among Equals to generate steady card advantage and graveyard setup whenever artifacts enter the battlefield. The early game focuses on accelerating mana with cost-reducers, cheap mana rocks, and artifact lands. Once the engine is assembled around Turn 5, the deck leverages continuous card draw from Padeem, Consul of Innovation, The Reality Chip, and affinity draw spells to assemble a critical mass of artifacts. Around Turn 6, the deck pivots into its lethal pressure phase by deploying devastating finishers such as Cyberdrive Awakener, Krang, Utrom Warlord, or Hullbreaker Horror. These threats turn unassuming utility artifacts into an overwhelming flying combat force or establish total board bounce dominance. Backed by blanket artifact hexproof and selective countermagic, the deck closes out games across two combat cycles while maintaining strong recovery options through artifact recursion.
