Commander: Edward Kenway

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Edward Kenway leads a Grixis Pirate and Vehicle deck that builds Treasure and steals opponents' cards. You create Treasure at your end step for each tapped Assassin, Pirate, or Vehicle, and each Vehicle that deals combat damage exiles the top card of that player's library for you to cast. The deck wins by attacking with crewed Vehicles and Pirates, using Treasure to cast stolen spells and to pressure life totals. Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator with Glint-Horn Buccaneer offers an infinite damage loop, while Port Razer, Marionette Master, and Dire Fleet Ravager provide combat and drain finishes. Edward is the main engine, but other Pirates sustain value if he is removed.
