Deck overview

This Jeskai deck leverages Sonic the Hedgehog as a fast-paced combat commander that rewards haste and flash creatures with growing +1/+1 counters and Treasure generation. Supported by a suite of efficient Equipment such as Colossus Hammer, Nettlecyst, and Hammer of Nazahn, the deck aims to turn low-cost creatures into lethal threats quickly. Artifact cost-reducers and utility creatures like Amy Rose, Alibou, Ancient Witness, and Puresteel Paladin streamline deployment and weapon attachment. The deck applies consistent combat pressure starting around turns four and five, aiming to knock out opponents through rapid commander damage and scaling artifact tokens. While it features strong targeted protection through boots and ward effects, its reliance on multi-turn combat leaves it open to sweepers and requires careful management of removal and recovery resources.
