Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos forced-combat and group-slug control deck commanded by Kardur, Doomscourge. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Kardur to force all opposing creatures into mutual combat while protecting the pilot's life total. By layering damage doublers like Dictate of the Twin Gods, death triggers, and attack penalties like Calculating Lich and Revenge of Ravens, the deck rapidly drains opposing life totals as players are compelled to trade creatures. Powerful continuous engines such as Mirage Phalanx soulbonded to Kardur provide recurring goad triggers each turn, while Archfiend of Depravity suppresses opposing board states. A dense suite of efficient Rakdos interaction including Terminate, Chaos Warp, and Rakdos Charm removes key opposing threats. In the endgame, once opponents have battered each other into low life totals, the deck finishes the remaining player through unblocked attacks or direct burn spells like Fiery Confluence and Breath of Malfegor.
