Beledros - Reimagined by Wolfer375

Format: Commander

Commander: Beledros Witherbloom

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Beledros Witherbloom is a Golgari life-gain/token-storm commander. The deck uses early ramp and cheap lifegain creatures to stay healthy, casts Beledros, then pays 10 life each upkeep to untap every land for an explosive mana turn. The primary finish is a huge Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate, often amplified by Bloodletter of Aclazotz; Plague of Vermin and Aetherflux Reservoir are alternate routes. Aristocrat pieces like Ayara, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mirkwood Bats turn Pests and rats into drains. Tutors find either a payoff or a protection spell. No true hidden commander; the plan is built around Beledros's untap engine with resilient drain lines if she is unavailable.
