Deck overview

This Boros aggro deck centers on Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, combining aggressive Dwarf tribal synergies with exponential Treasure generation. In the opening turns, the deck deploys efficient low-curve Dwarves like Dwalin, Weaponmaster and utility creatures like Magda, Brazen Outlaw. Once Thorin enters the battlefield, every subsequent Dwarf generates a Treasure token while Thorin grants all other Dwarves +1/+0 for each artifact token controlled. This converts mana generation directly into lethal board power. The deck accelerates into massive combat swings starting around turn 5, using cards like Akroma's Will to bypass blockers and deliver lethal damage. An exceptional suite of protection spells, including Deflecting Swat, Flare of Fortitude, and Teferi's Protection, shields key permanents from opposing sweepers. While vulnerable to early heavy disruption and lacking infinite combos, the deck presents a fast, resilient, and flavorfully cohesive tribal beatdown strategy.
