Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black aristocrats and reanimator strategy commanded by Junji, the Midnight Sky. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap sacrifice outlets, filling the graveyard through targeted tutors and self-sacrifice, and looping powerful death triggers. Junji serves both as an engine piece and a win enabler: when Junji dies, it can reanimate high-impact non-Dragon creatures like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Massacre Wurm, and Plaguecrafter, or strip cards and life from each opponent. Cheap instant-speed reanimation spells such as Not Dead After All and Undying Malice allow Junji to die and immediately return, triggering multiple death effects in a single turn.
