Teysa (Aristocrats) by zikfu

Format: Commander

Commander: Teysa Karlov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Orzhov aristocrats deck helmed by Teysa Karlov, built to convert creature deaths into life drain, card draw, and token generation. Teysa doubles every death trigger, so each sacrifice event fires twice - Blood Artist drains 2, Pitiless Plunderer makes two Treasures, and Pawn of Ulamog makes two Spawns. The primary win is assembling a sacrifice loop (Ashnod's Altar + Pitiless Plunderer + Reassembling Skeleton) with a drain payoff to kill the table. Secondary wins come from grinding incremental drain through Zulaport Cutthroat, Cruel Celebrant, and Vindictive Vampire, plus token swarms from Elenda, the Dusk Rose and Hallowed Spiritkeeper swinging with lifelink. The deck is grindy and resilient, with recursion from Luminous Broodmoth, Athreos, God of Passage, and Victimize to rebuild after wipes.
