(Hashaton, Scarab's Fist) - The Mummy Returns! by Kainzinator

Format: Commander

Commander: Hashaton, Scarab's Fist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is an Esper discard-value deck helmed by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist. The core plan is to discard high-impact creatures, pay Hashaton, Scarab's Fist's {2}{U} trigger, and flood the board with 4/4 black Zombie copies of bombs like Archon of Cruelty, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Sheoldred, Whispering One, and Hullbreaker Horror. Cheap discard outlets (Putrid Imp, Tireless Tribe, Rona, Herald of Invasion, Kitsa, Otterball Elite, Skirge Familiar) keep the engine fed, while a supporting reanimation package (Reanimate, Necromancy, Rise of the Dark Realms, Phyrexian Reclamation) recovers the discarded bodies. Secondary lines include classic untapper loops with Palinchron and Peregrine Drake, plus fair midrange pressure from The Scarab God, Varina, Lich Queen, and Bone Miser. A dense instant-speed interaction suite protects the window while the Zombie army closes.
