Deck overview

This is a general-power Oloro, Ageless Ascetic lifegain deck built around incremental life gain, life-loss payoffs, defensive taxes, and the Sanguine Bond plus Exquisite Blood loop. Oloro, Ageless Ascetic supplies life gain from the command zone and can turn each upkeep trigger into a card and an opponent life loss for {1}. The main weakness is speed: both combo enchantments cost five mana, the tutors are expensive, and the deck has little cheap acceleration or protection. A normal game develops through lands, rocks, defensive enchantments, and draw engines before assembling the combo around turn 9. Once both enchantments and a life-gain source are active, the loop can eliminate all three opponents on the same turn. Outside the combo, cards such as Aetherflux Reservoir, Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Defiant Bloodlord, and Cliffhaven Vampire provide alternative pressure, but they are slower and less reliable than the primary loop.
