Deck overview

This is a Grixis multi-upkeep combat deck helmed by Obeka, Splitter of Seconds. The core plan is to connect with Obeka in combat, convert her damage into a burst of extra upkeep steps, and detonate stacked upkeep triggers from the Court cycle, Descent into Avernus, Quakebringer, Braid of Fire, and As Foretold. Extra-combat enablers (Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Combat Celebrant) and double-strike equipment multiply the upkeep count in a single turn, while damage doublers (Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Twinflame Tyrant, Wound Reflection, Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar) turn those triggers into table-wide kills. A dense free-interaction suite and premium tutors protect the combat step and assemble the pieces. Secondary lines include Time Sieve extra turns fueled by Treasure production, Torment of Hailfire as a big-mana finisher, and Underworld Breach recursion. The deck plays as a midrange combo-combat hybrid that wins through explosive upkeep chains rather than traditional infinite mana.
