Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity, combat-centric aggro deck built around Ognis, the Dragon's Lash and a dense tribal shell of Lizards and haste creatures. The primary game plan accelerates mana through efficient 2-CMC ramp into a Turn 3 Ognis, immediately attacking to generate tapped Treasure tokens. These accumulated Treasures provide substantial mana velocity, enabling the deck to deploy mid-game threats like Ziatora's Envoy alongside potent damage multipliers such as Furnace of Rath, Gratuitous Violence, and Return of the Wildspeaker. The deck creates a decisive, must-answer board state on Turn 5, threatening lethal combat damage across multiple players by Turn 7. While the strategy exhibits fast recovery and strong mana generation thanks to Ognis's immediate haste triggers, it suffers from minimal stack interaction, low reactive removal density, and vulnerability to instant-speed board wipes.
