Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Time Travel and Combo Control build commanded by The Tenth Doctor. It leverages an explosive fast mana core—including Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Chrome Mox—to accelerate past the early turns and establish commanding card advantage through engines like The One Ring and Rhystic Study. The primary strategy focuses on manipulating time counters, stealing high-value opposing permanents with spells like Blatant Thievery and Agent of Treachery, and threatening a decisive finish with the Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity draw-damage loop. Backed by elite free countermagic such as Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat, the deck maintains tight control over opposing threats while protecting its own development. Although it lacks dense tutor packages, high card velocity and redundant theft effects ensure dependable mid-game transitions, making it resilient against targeted removal and capable of closing games rapidly once its primary engines resolve.
